Our Club recently celebrated its 40th anniversary as it was formed in 1969.  It came to be when a gentleman, Ian Newby, who was driving an MG TF, put an advert in the local paper looking for "sympathy" from other MG owners.  He also owned a Jaguar, so our Club became a joint MG/Jaguar Club.

The Club caters for all MG models, and currently our members have about 30 MGAs, and 2 Magnettes.  There are about 12 NAMGAR members out of about 70 CCMGC members.  Total club membership, with Jaguar owners, is about 130 enthusiasts.

We have been a NAMGAR Chapter Club since about 1992, and our Club hosted GT-32 in 2007 in Whistler, BC.

Our Club meets on the 2nd Monday of each month, from 7.30 pm, at the Burnaby Lake Clubhouse (Kensington/Sprott).  Visitors and guests of members are welcome.  Our weekend driving events start in March with a Sunday brunch, and end in early November with a Kruise for Kids charity drive.  Should you be visiting BC, please contact us either directly, or through the website - we always welcome MG and Jaguar owners to our Club events.
