Ontario (Windsor)

The Windsor-Detroit MG Club was founded in 1980 by four men, two Canadian, two American. They saw the international border not as a barrier, but as a link for MG enthusiasts in southeast Michigan and southwest Ontario to understand and enjoy their cars.

This international camaraderie is what gives the Windsor-Detroit MG Club its unique character; it is probably the first and possibly the only local club in North America to enjoy membership and events in two countries on a regular basis. Membership is open to anybody with an interest in MG cars. Represented models include: MG T-Series, Magnette, MGA, MGB, and Midget. Ownership is not required, and in the true spirit of the enthusiast, a car's condition is not important.

Membership is currently 225 members, owning 375 British cars, of which 296 are MGs and 33 are MGAs.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. In even numbered months the venue is the Brass Pointe, Farmington Hills, Michigan. In odd numbered months the meetings are held at The Dominion House Tavern in Windsor, Ontario. Meetings start at 7:00 pm.
