Hi all - Hope your 2010 MG experiences so far with your chapter or interest group have been good. Here is some information that you need to know and other information that you should pass along to your chapter or interest group members.

GT-35 Chapter & Interest Group Contacts Meeting

This is your chance to dialogue with other contacts and NAMGAR officers. It's a great time to discuss how your chapter or interest group does things and also exchanging information can help your chapter or interest group do things better. The NAMGAR Board is interested how your chapter or interest group perceives NAMGAR and if you have any questions or concerns. The meeting will be on Thursday, July 29th from 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM in the Great Room. There will be a light lunch served. Please let us know if you're attending (with your spouse or not) as we need to let the resort know the number of attendees so nobody gets "short shirted".

NAMGAR in the POCONOS 2010

The British Car Club of Northeast Pennsylvania is hosting a NAMGAR Regional "NAMGAR In The POCONOS 2010" from September 29th to October 2nd at the Pocono Manor Resort. Last year's regional was fun so this year's has to be more fun. Click here for more information.

If you haven't checked it out and if your chapter hasn't submitted their chapter's logo and a chapter description to NAMGAR's revitalized web site, then you're missing an opportunity for your chapter to be seen world wide and for MGA owners in your area to learn about your club. It's not too late, just contact the NAMGAR Internet Coordinators for details.

What About 2011 & Beyond for Events?

NAMGAR is accepting bids for 2011 Spring and Fall Regional events. They're fun to put on and they're fun to attend, plus NAMGAR can assist financially for trophies. Get with your chapter's officers and ask them to consider putting on a regional event. NAMGAR is also accepting bids for GT-38 in 2013. It's not really that far away so if putting on the premier North American MGA Register event in 2013 is something your chapter is thinking of doing now is the time to initiate discussions with NAMGAR. NAMGAR will assist financially and has a complete manual of "what to do and how to do it". MG Council Press Release - Rallye To Reno

This is something worth checking out if you are thinking of driving to MG 2011, because it's about traveling to MG 2011 on RT 50 across the US with other MG'ers. It starts on Ocean City, MD and basically cuts across mid-America to Reno, NV. Click here for more information.
