Classified Ads

Classified ads are available for Businesses or Individuals. Both NAMGAR members and non-members can post classified ads.

The Classified ads will run for 4 months on the web, or in MGA! (2 issues.) They will be removed automatically on the expiry date, but we would appreciate it if you should sell, or buy the item(s) advertised, please let us know.

We suggest that personal classified ads have a full description of the item For Sale or Wanted, and it includes your email address, your telephone number, price expected (For Sale item), and the State/ Province you are in.

Beware of buyers who offer to pay full price for an item, sometimes with an additional amount to cover shipping or other costs, and paying with a cashiers check. They will later ask for a partial or full refund before their initial payment has worked its way through the banking system. There may be a sense of urgency in completing the transaction and little interest in the details of the purchase. This is a common eBay scam that has made its way to MarketPlace. Always take payments like this to your bank to verify authenticity and wait at least ten days to two weeks for the check to clear. Be wary of buyers who ask for account information in order to wire funds to your bank. Remember, if a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Photo for MGA Classified AdFor Sale:  1800cc 5-main motor currently running in my ‘60 MGA Coupe. The motor has been bored to .020, has a .010/.010 crank, the block was line honed, and it has about 1500 miles on it. "L" head done by Noland's Cylinder Heads and has hard seats. Runs great and you can drive the car up to the time I pull the motor. After that I could mount it on the test stand and run it. With some simple, minor changes it could be put back in an MGB. All components that went into the motor were new and there is a complete file on the motor. Prefer to sell the motor as a complete long block for $3950.00 but will negotiate for the accessories if someone needs them. See photo in website ad.
